Mifuku
XR Artist

Mifuku is an XR artist whose practice explores the intersection between art-historical discourse and immersive spatial media.
She approaches XR as a means of translating and rearticulating existing artistic ideas within contemporary visual experience.
In Given: Marcel Duchamp, Mifuku revisits Duchamp’s final work—known for its striking visual and spatial character—through the lens of XR, exploring the tension between his rejection of retinal art and the intensely visual nature of his late practice.
In Drawing on Space, she integrates Shiroshita’s VR drawings with site-specific textures and environmental sounds, constructing XR works that translate field research into spatial and experiential form.
Through these practices, Mifuku positions XR as a medium for connecting contemporary art discourse with embodied visual experience.
